Jr. Application Developer

Roles & responsibilities

Analyzes, documents, designs and develops information technology (IT) hardware and software systems including writing, modifying and adapting computer programs in high-level programming languages including C, C++, Objective C, python, and Java. Performs research on applications for hardware, software and operating systems.

Develops Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Enabling software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems, flow, data usage, and work processes, investigation problem areas.  Follows the software development lifecycle.  Develops code.  Writes scripts for unit testing.  Performs unit testing.  Writes supporting documentation.

Updates source code to incorporate additional capabilities.

Updates and maintains documentation required for Risk Management Framework activities.

Qualifications

BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering.

5 years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and equipment analysis.

At least 2 years of experience developing applications for PKI using advanced technologies, including Internet protocols or web-based technology.

19 years of experience in developing computer programs utilizing C, C++, and Objective C.

Top Secret clearance.

U.S. citizen

Application lifecycle management
