Logistics Specialist
Location:– San Antonio, Texas
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Summary
In support of this position, the Logistics Specialist shall provide logistics support for life-cycle sustainment for fielded systems used in support of TAP (Technical Applications Product) mission systems and equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
· Experience performing tasks associated with supply, procurement, sparing, logistics planning, and item management.
· Knowledge and experience inputting data to Government produced reports, data systems, and briefings.
· Experience processing deliverable reports and inputting data to Government produced reports, data systems, and briefings.
· Experience producing estimated average 250-300 actions, to include requisitions, shipments, receipts, repairs etc.per year.
Preferred/Required Experience
· Familiarity with the TAP Air and Ground sampling systems preferred
· Knowledge of the DoD systems acquisition process to successfully define doctrine and operations concepts required
· Expertise in expediting hardware through the repair cycle process to reach end users in worldwide locations is required
· Knowledge with stock listing, disposal, and re procurement processes and guidelines.
· Expertise in requirements computations and use of AFLCMC/HNC Cryptologic Logistics Automated Suppo1t System (CLASS) is required.
· Familiarity with military standards and regulations governing logistics policies and procedures required.
Preferred/Required Education
· H.S. Diploma or equivalent required with at least 2-4 years of experience as a Logistics Specialist
· Technical or AA degree preferred
Required licenses or certifications
· Valid driver’s license and must be a U.S. Citizen
· Government Security Clearance required
