PKI Product Support Specialist

Summary of Position
Provides support to the Cryptological and Cyber Systems Division by delivering cybersecurity solutions to secure business operations across the Air Force network.  Includes providing Information Assurance (IA) expertise in the areas of policy guidance, product support, implementation strategies, and operational process analysis in support of the Public Key Infrastructure, Common Access Card, and Identity Management activities in the Air Force.  Requires professional and communications skills to coordinate Air Force Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) efforts with both Air Force, DoD and non-DoD partners.

Essential Job Requirements
• Knowledge of the DoD and AF PKI certificate issuance process.
• Knowledgeable of the standards, practices, and processes applicable to computer security, encryption and IT in the DoD.
• Awareness of technologies, policies, processes and procedures associated with cyber security, information assurance, public key infrastructure, and public key enabling.
• Ability to provide advice for the implementation and configuration of Information Assurance (IA) and PKI systems that are employed across the AF Enterprise.
• Ability to provide briefings and team meetings with internal team members and external relying parties.
• Use established standards to vet users into trusted PKI roles.
• Competence to develop product deployment documents (e.g., pilot plan, implementation plans, etc.) to support PKI initiatives.
• Ability to maintain a trusted agent database to support new and current PKI projects.
• Customer service focus to provide technical support to customers.
• Must have active Secret security clearance.
Required Education 
Bachelor’s Degree required

Required Experience
• Maintain trusted agent databases to support PKI operations.
• Support the Token Management System Logistics System.
• Support the fielding of new PKI or IA associated software or hardware.
• Provide training and outreach material to support PKI initiatives.
Required Skills

• Analytical skills - Must be able to evaluate policy and guidance, technology advancements in PKI, and operational requirements to formulate implementation strategies in the AF.
• Communication and Interpersonal - Strong interpersonal skills in order to collaborate / coordinate AF PKI positions with AF customers and DoD PKI subject matter experts.
• Customer service/support – Strong customer focus to affect the internal and external PKI customers.
• Attention to detail – Must have a keen eye for details to ensure access to systems and applications is granted to authorized personnel only.

Physical Requirements
This is a standard office environment and requires lifting and moving of standard personal computers, files, and supplies. 

Equipment Used
Personal computers, software, and government phone systems and networks.

Security Clearance
Position requires a Secret clearance.
