Proposal Coordinator

~~Summary of Position
The selected candidate will function as a Proposal Coordinator and will support all phases of proposal development.  Additionally, serve as corporate Technical Editor across programs. 

Essential Job Requirements
Responsibilities include directly assisting proposal managers coordinating proposal resources, resolving issues, coordinating among key stakeholders, and performing proposal production activities. On behalf of proposal managers, schedules and hosts proposal strategy sessions and proposal reviews. Records meeting minutes. Helps maintain accuracy of the proposal repository. Assists internal and 3rd-party users in accessing and using proposal repository.  Establishes and maintains communications among geographically distributed proposal team, including subcontractors. Prepares materials for reviews and final production using desktop publishing tools/skills. Coordinates with graphic artists and other contributors on content presentation within the proposal. Formats, publishes, and produces proposals. Facilitates daily meetings and other required proposal action items. Helps maintain proposal development tools and templates. Attend strategy, status, and review meetings to capture action items and incorporate feedback into documents under development. Perform post-submission dissection and tagging of final proposal documents to support accessibility as future reference materials. 
Secondary role, serves as Corporate Technical Editor. This position is in San Antonio, TX.

Required Education 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (English Major preferred)

Required Experience
• 2+ years’ experience as a proposal coordinator or similar duties in the DoD Market
• 3+ years’ experience as a technical writer, editor, or similar duties. 
• Experience with SharePoint, Dropbox, and other Cloud based systems
• US Citizenship required
Required Skills
• Expert in MS Word and proficient in other MS Office Suite applications
• Proficient in MS Word; expert at document formatting (margins, tables, headings, section and page numbering, headers/footers, TOC, etc) preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Suite (Adobe Pro), Adobe Illustrator and other graphic applications
• Ability to work well with a team
• Ability work without close supervision
• Strong communications skills

• Highly organized
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize time-sensitive requirements

Physical Requirements
Light office duty; occasional light industrial work as part of preparing proposals and reviewing deliverables.
